Section G1 is made up of five strong lodges from across Louisiana.

At the local level, lodges exist to serve Scouting America councils and individual units. Each lodge chief, lodge vice chief, lodge adviser, and associate lodge adviser is a member of the section’s Council of Chiefs. One youth lodge representative is able to vote at the four Council of Chiefs meetings annually. The section works closely with lodges to provide support as needed.
